Anna Fraire

Anna Fraire is an art and portrait photographer. Her work casts a delicate and melancholic gaze upon the things around her and explores different personal themes, ranging from womanhood and body image to perception, memory, and emotional heritage. It also draws on her background in architecture to capture the urban environment and the natural landscape in a more intentional and exploratory way, through a mindful practice of wandering around without a specific destination or purpose and slowing down the photographic process.

Anna’s photography is deeply rooted in experimentation and the exploration of unconventional tools, materials, and processes. The intent is not only to create images that are unconventional, personal, and unique, but also to convey a sense of depth and complexity that encourages viewers to question their own perceptions of reality.
