Kallirroi Ioannidou:

Kallirroi Ioannidou lives and works in Berlin Germany. Her preoccupation in life rhythms and the trans- formation of matter is tangible in her work-ing process across drawing, painting and sculpture in a non-hierarchical way. Her vivid visual narratives expand from one medium to the other with no linear narrative, no delimited focal point, and no attempt to draw clean conclusions. Through intuitive and subconscious associative processes, Kallirroi Ioannidou is interested in asking questions regarding the essence of contemporary human condition. The artist is concerned with societal mechanisms and interrogates the hurdles, attributions, expectations, and prejudices that most of us must deal with in our daily lives.

Kallirroi Ioannidou studied at the University of Fine Arts and graduated with a Meisterschüler diploma in 2021. In 2018 she received the Schulz Stübner Recognition Award and in 2022 she received the Udk Art Award. Her pieces have been shown at numerous solo (Galerie Burster Berlin, Galerie Apoteket Sweden) and group exhibitions (Circle Culture Galerie Berlin, Galerie Met Berlin).

Linou Meyer:

Linou Meyer lives and works in Berlin. She studied in the class of Ina Weber at the UdK Berlin and graduated in 2023 as a master student in Fine Arts. She has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Anna-Oppermann-Preis and the TakiFuji Special Art Award in Japan. In her final year she was awarded the Karl Hofer Scholarship and in the same year the Heussen Perspectives Award at the Berlin POSITIONS Art Fair. In addition to two solo exhibitions in Berlin, the artist has shown her works in numerous group exhibitions throughout Germany and abroad.

In her art, Linou Meyer frees herself from external and internal evaluation, creating her own little cosmos in which she explores the intersection of childlikeness, femininity and sensitivity within our patriarchal system. The artist takes up forms of magical thinking in order to detach herself from a rational adult perspective.

Marcel Schwittlick:

Marcel Schwittlick is a Berlin-based artist who uniquely blends digital and physical art through the use of drawing machines and algorithmic systems. His work spans generative art and plotter art, where he transforms digital cursor-lines into intricate, tangible artworks. Schwittlick draws inspiration from generative aesthetics and computational methods to create geometric patterns that play with the concepts of chance and intention. With a background in computer science and art, he crafts his pieces using vintage plotters and self-developed algorithms, embracing the machines’ quirks to explore the symbiosis between artist and machine. His practice not only visualizes the intricate dance between control and randomness but also includes an auditory dimension through the distinctive sounds produced by the plotting machines during the creation process.
