Linou Meyer

Linou was born in 1990 in Seeheim-Jugenheim. Before studying art, she began working as a flight attendant for Lufthansa in order to finance her studies in Educational Sciences and English/American Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which she completed in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences.

She has been studying at the UdK Berlin in Prof. Ina Weber’s class since 2015. In 2018 she was awarded the Anna Oppermann Prize and received a scholarship to study abroad at the Universidad de las Artes in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2020, she received the TakiFuji Special Art Award in Tokyo, Japan. She completed her studies in 2023 as a “Meisterschülerin” and was one of the Karl Hofer scholarship holders. In the same year, she exhibited at the POSITIONS Art Fair Berlin, where she received the HEUSSEN Perspectives Award. Linou Meyer has exhibited both in Germany and internationally in numerous exhibitions such as the Laura Mars Gallery in Berlin, the SA-KURA Gallery in Japan and the Künstlerhaus Bregenz in Austria.
